Develop and implement an impactful marketing plan, including but not limited to brand management, advertising, social media, graphic design, content development, and multimedia productions.
Provide technical and administrative oversight in the daily operations of the department.
Manage the buying, scheduling and placement of advertising in various media format.
Create marketing materials.
Provide strategic communication counsel to the college leadership team.
Provide direct management over press releases and public relations.
Serve as the college spokesperson in response to media inquiries.
Manage the department's participation in college sponsored events that may take place outside of normal working hours.
Budget management for the department.
Supervise, coach and evaluate departmental employees.
Represent the college on system-wide committees
The desired applicant will have the ability to deliver impactful communications to a variety of audiences in order to meet the college's mission. Applicant must have strong leadership skills, integrity, creativity, energy, excellent communication skills and experience with budget management. A bachelor's degree and a minimum of four years of related experience and supervisory experience is required. Higher education experience a plus.
