PRODUCT DESIGNER , MIT Technology Review (MITTR) , to play a central role in shaping the user interface of MITTR's digital ecosystem, ranging from editorial tools to the reader facing web presences, digital magazines, and marketing tools. Will take projects from conceptual questions all the way through pixel-perfect visuals, developing an extensible process along the way that brings excellence regardless of project timeline.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : at least three years of experience in digital product design; a bachelor's degree in design, fine arts, or related field; proficiency with user interface (UI) design software, e.g., Sketch, Figma, Principle, Flinto, etc.; extensive knowledge of user-centered design principles in the context of current industry standards and trends in UI/UX design, interaction design patterns, and cross-platform responsive design; excellent visual design skills and a keen eye for details and a modern design aesthetic; experience with prototyping UI interactivity and incorporating motion/animation into UI; initiative; and willingness and ability to propose design ideas that exceed expectations and take risks.
