![]() Videographer and Photographer Primary Purpose: The Videographer & Photographer is a visual storyteller who helps grow, engage and sustain prospective undergraduate and graduate student audience's for University of the Pacific's brand story and expand media presence. The individual will report to the Director of Content Strategy as a member of an enrollment marketing team of content and user engagement strategy. Essential Functions: 1. Produce, write, research, direct, shoot and edit high-quality video and photo content for multiple digital and traditional channels, including the universitys website and social media platforms. 2. Produces content packages in support of the universitys enrollment management efforts. 3. Oversees the video and photography production of on-campus events for enrollment management. 4. Mentors and manages student interns, student employees and their video production projects, helping them gain hands-on experience in video production and photography. 5. Curates, stores, documents and archives all appropriate video and audio work produced for the University, on- and off-campus. 6. Regularly capture B-roll to preserve university visual history, storage and use by partners and external media. 7. Manage the video/audio content displayed across the universitys digital marketing properties. 8. Contributes to the overall success of the Office of Enrollment Management and the University by performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 9. Advanced proficiency with camera and audio equipment. 10. Ability to work outside of regular business hours and weekends as needed. Minimum Qualifications: One (1) to three (3) years of experience in the field or in a related area. Fluent with Final Cut, Adobe Premiere Pro Experience, and other Adobe Creative Suite programs (After Effects, Photoshop, etc.). Sound production and advanced audio editing skills, including inserting close captioning, graphics, special effects, animations, and other on-screen text into video. Preferred Qualifications: Excellent organizational and project management skills. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute several projects simultaneously conforming to shifting priorities, demands and timelines. Excellent interpersonal skills. Presentation and reporting skills. Moderate physical activity, requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four hours per day.
