Interplan's internships offers an excellent opportunity for recent grads or students to work under the guidance of an Interior Design Project Manager and gain hands on experience. Interns will report directly to a Project Manager and will support the team in efforts of design, document development and administration, depending on expertise and knowledge.
The Interior Design Intern shall have a good understanding of color as it relates to spatial design, specifically with regard to material finish selections. The Interior Design Intern shall be capable of researching finishes and making selections for consideration by the Project Manager.
This is a paid internship with preference given to candidates that can start immediately. Candidates must be available to work for eight weeks or more. This position has the potential of turning into a full-time permanent position.
Interior Design Intern would be ideally a recent graduate or currently enrolled in their 4th year of an interior design program.
Comfortable presenting your design ideas to colleagues and Clients.
Must have strong CAD and/or Revit skills, having completed (2) class in ideally both mediums.
Rendering capabilities necessary.
Familiarity with Adobe Suite preferred.
Interest in Social Media and Marketing efforts preferred.
Shall have proficient verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
