Description of Work:
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Journalism and Mass Communications is seeking an assistant professor in advertising and public relations or sports media and communication to join our award-winning program starting in August 2023. The responsibilities of this position will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in advertising and public relations and/or sports media and communication; contributing to the development of our curriculum; conducting and publishing research regularly; providing service to the college, university and profession; and other assigned duties.
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Journalism and Mass Communications is accredited by the ACEJMC and offers majors in advertising and public relations, broadcasting, journalism and sports media and communication. Minimum Required Qualifications:
Professional experience in advertising and public relations, integrated media communications, mass communications or a closely related field.
Expertise in esports, sports promotion or digital graphics.
