Job Summary
- Database Curator to input and summarize data about C. elegans genes, cells, gene expression, development behavior, etc.
Essential Job Duties
- Read scientific literature and extract information about C. elegans.
- Develop data models for developmental biology or behavioral genetic data.
- Write simple scripts.
- Communicate with front-line researchers.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience as a Curator of a model organism database.
- Excellent written communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Research experience with C. elegans preferred.
- Experience with UNIX and Perl helpful.
