The individual in this position is responsible for the direction, development, maintenance, use and research of McKissick Museum's varied collections of material culture, natural science, university-related objects, and fine art numbering in total approximately 20,000 cataloged objects. The person in this position is responsible for the care of objects in the collection, as well as organizes, develops, and produces pertinent research, exhibitions, publications and educational materials in other formats such as web applications. The individual is responsible for directing collections growth in keeping with the Museum's mission and strategic vision. This person will report to the executive director. Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Master's degree in history, museology or a related field; or a bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience.
