1. Initiates, plans and organizes exhibitions of the collection. 2. Determines the organization and housing of a collection. 3. Determines conservation priorities. 4. Recommends acquisitions for the collection and evaluates aesthetic and historical interest, prevailing market conditions and their significance in relation to the strengths and weaknesses of the collection. 5. Initiates the scholarly cataloging of objects in the collection. 6. Determines and recommends which objects can be loaned. 7. Writes publications on the collection and catalogues for exhibitions. 8. Plans and teaches courses in the appropriate discipline. 9. Fundraises and drafts grant proposals for the collection. 10. May supervise staff of exempt and non-exempt employees. 11.
