Assistant Director - Communications & Public Relations (Communications Officer I)
The Georgia Tech Athletic Association seeks an assistant director of communications and public relations (Communications Officer I). This position will:
1. Serve as the primary communications and public relations contact for Georgia Tech women’s basketball and women’s tennis programs
* Act as a liaison between programs/coaches/student-athletes and media
* Act as programs’ communications liaison to the ACC and NCAA
* Oversee and implement programs’ social media strategies (in conjunction with creative & digital strategy staff)
* Maintain program’s presence on official website of Georgia Tech athletics (ramblinwreck.com)
* Write press releases to promote programs and recap events
* Write and maintain coach and student-athlete biographies
