The Integrated Media Department at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA invites applications for a 100% FTE, fixed-term lecturer position beginning in the spring 2024 semester. This position is only for one semester and is not up for renewal. Our department seeks individuals with professional experience and teaching experience in the field of public relations. Expectations include teaching undergraduate courses in the public relations major, such as Public Relations Principles, Writing for Public Relations, PR Speech Writing and Delivery, and other courses depending on the department's needs.
We look forward to collaborating with a colleague who has strong pedagogical abilities, with particular sensitivity to inclusive, equity-minded teaching practices and who has demonstrated experience or interest in teaching and mentoring undergraduate students from a variety of backgrounds and identities, including those historically marginalized in the academy.

A PhD, MFA, MA, or MS in public relations or related field (e.g. strategic communication, communication, media studies, marketing, business administration)
At least or one year of teaching or teaching assistant experience at the undergraduate level
