Responsible for creating and executing a communications strategy that advances understanding, visibility, and engagement of local public health departments in the Northeast Wisconsin region. Strategies include, but are not limited to, social media, newsletter development, templates, and media relationships. Develops graphic design, web content and media relations strategies.
This full-time position serves the local governmental and tribal public health jurisdictions within the following 17-counties in the Northeast Wisconsin region: Brown, Calumet, Door, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Marinette, Marquette, Menominee, Oconto, Outagamie, Shawano, Sheboygan, Waupaca, Waushara, and Winnebago Counties.

Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or closely related field plus three years related professional work experience, or equivalent combination of closely related education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skill, and abilities.
Experience in public health, social services, non-profit or equivalent experience, skills, and abilities is preferred.
